Since 1966, Prabhat has grown to include three generations of the family operating from the US and India.

Prabhat India was established by H.K. Dhruv as a family owned business in Mumbai India, which, to this day is still in Mumbai, India.
The company was started as an automotive component manufacturer and distributor.

1994

Opening of new manufacturing plant in Sarigam (Gujarat India).

First UL approved gaskets (Push-On) sold in the USA.

1999

ISO 9001:2000 certification for Quality Management System at Manufacturing Facility.

Developed marketing, sales, and distribution operation in Atlanta, Georgia.

Started manufacturing of PVC-pipe Reiber-Style gaskets for the North American market.

2003

ISO 9001:2000 Accreditation including design capabilities for Sarigam Plant.

Official formation of Prabhat Industries LLC. in Atlanta, Georgia.

2006

Approval for ISO: 4633 / GB/T13295-2003.

Standard Health Test Clearance from Shanghai Disease Prevent & Control Center.

2009

Introduction of Gaskets for Stoneware Pipes in EPDM as per EN-681-1 & ASTM C 425.

Approval of TZW from Germany for Push on Gaskets.

2020

New Certification of ISO - 14001 received.

Development of Mechanical & Transition Joint Gaskets.

Started selling and supplying products to U.S. based customers.

1996

Two years after opening the plant in Sarigam, the annual quantity produced exceed the one million piece mark.

2001

Material-Pruefungs-Amt Nordrhein-Westfalen (MPA-NRW) listing/certification/approval for Push-On Gaskets.

NSF 61 certification for MJ, Trans, Push-on & IPS Gaskets.

2005

NSF 61 certification for C900 / C905 gaskets.

Sarigam manufacturing plant expansion to largely increase annual production capacity.

Opening of representative sales office in China.

2008

Approval by Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) from United Kingdom for Push On Gaskets.

ISO 9001:2008 New Certificate.

2010

Development of special adhesive, compatible with gaskets for stoneware pipes for fixing to SWG Pipes.
